With broken hearts, we have to share the sad news that our festival cannot take place in Bern. On the positive side, we are excited to announce that the whole event wont be cancelled nor postponed. This means that the event will take its place online, on the ZoomWebinar system. There are slight modification and changes to the programs and ticket prices, which is all shared in the video. To sum it up really quick, the date and program stays the same with minor changes. Be aware that if you already booked for the festival, please do reconsider booking the event in order to take place.
The path to the project
It sums up the question how we got there, and what the main idea looked like. Marcos Denis, who works for the Swiss Association of the Deaf (SGB-FSS), came up with the concept of the project. Serafine Duss, board of SwissDeafYouth(SDY) comes along due her responsibility for making the entire project public. SDY supports us along the way. She also mentions the age range for visitors is limited from 18-35. Someone came up with the question, if international friends could come and attend. Sera replies to that, that we wanted to focus on swiss people first. If there are still some places left after the first application phase, international guests are welcome.
Logo Creation and Explaination
Andrin and Jessica explain together the meaning of the logo for Youth Day. In focus they explain what our motto means to us and what we want to achieve.
